Rating: PG-13 for violence, disturbing images, some sexuality, and language.
Starring: Sarah Michelle Gellar, Lee Pace, Suzanne Bastien, and Michael Landes.

Gellar seems to be on a role with a genre she is familiar with, and "Possession," is a small budget film about the supernatural. Films like "The Grudge," "The Return," and now "Possession," show that Gellar is comfortable in the scream queen role. And with some early buzz "Possession," will excite audiences as it contains both a romantic angle along with some horror and thriller elements. The success of her previous films shows that Gellar knows how to have fun in these types of roles and is sure to entertain audiences in early February, 2009 (Internet).

A young woman (Ginnifer Goodwin) is obsessed with a man and tries to set up accidental meetings with him only to run across his friend (Justin Long), who takes her on as a "My Fair Lady" experiment.
Drew Barrymore plays a woman perpetually confused by dating, now more than ever in a culture that is more obsessed with technology than actual human contact. Based on the best-selling book by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo (Tribute).

Rating: PG-13 for sexual content and brief strong language.

Originally, a self-help book about relationships "He's Just Not that Into You," makes its way from the small screen as a "Sex and the City," episode, to the big screen. Possibly, a comedic look at relationships from the female point of view this film hopes to capitalize on the momentum of "Sex and the City," to fill theatres with screaming fans. "He's Just Not that Into You," is likely to make the transition to the cinema screens as fans love to see these lovely ladies almost anywhere (Wiki).

Rating: Predicting a PG-13 based on the trailer.
Starring: Dakota Fanning, Camilla Belle, Chris Evans, Djimon Hounsou, and Maggie Siff.
Director: Paul McGuigan.
From the trailer and early previews this film looks somewhat silly and is probably more for the adolescent/teenager crowd. However, the appearance of Djimou Hounsou adds some credibility to the film. Overall, "Push," appears to be a partial "Firestarter," remake with some action thrown in to dazzle crowds. See it in February 6, 2009.

"Dance Flick"
In this spoof of dance movies, aspiring professional dancers Megan and Thomas try and help one another realize their dreams (Internet).
Release Date: February 6, 2009
Starring: Shawn Wayans, Marlon Wayans, Kim Wayans, and Keenen Ivory Wayans
AKA the Wayans Brothers Movie Project "Dance Flick," spoofs the latest dance movie craze. The Wayans brothers are often entertaining and initial previews are promoting this film as an urban comedy with style. In addition, the initial trailer is quite funny and hopefully will be a lot better than some of the other spoof movies that are crashing and burning i.e. "Date Movie," and "Scary Movie."

"Confessions of a Shopaholic"
Based on the books "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and "Shopaholic Takes Manhattan" by Sophie Kinsella. Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) is a 25 year old who lives with her best friend Suze (Krysten Ritter) in Suze's flat (paying her friend rent that is well below market value), in a trendy part of town. Rebecca has a very boring job writing for a financial magazine. She has a shopping addiction and her crap job doesn't pay enough. Her bills are piling up, so she tries cutting back (complete fiasco), then she tries making more money (another fiasco). Eventually, Becky discovers a story that she is truly invested in. Exposing the story gets the attention of a (male, need I say more?) colleague that she hasn't quite figured out yet. Some drama ensues as she snags the (EXTREMELY hot) guy, and she attempts to pay off her ever-growing debt (Internet).
Release Date: February 13, 2009.
Rating: PG for some mild language and thematic elements.
Starring: Isla Fisher, Joan Cusack, John Goodman, Kirstin Scott Thomas, John Lithgow, and Lynn Redgrave.
Director: P. J. Hogan.
A movie about shopping addiction might be relevant to some movie goers, but is it likely to be entertaining? Maybe, fun for some, yet it is too early to tell from the trailers and previews alone.

Naomi Watts and Clive Owen are both excellent actors and the interesting plot line is sure to fascinate many action-thriller fans. Several locations are the backdrop to this espionage drama and from the trailers "The International," looks like a slick James-Bondesque action film. As well, the addition of a currently relevant story makes this movie reviewer curious as to how the movie will turn out.

"Friday the 13th"

Release Date: February 13, 2009.
Rating: Predicting a Restricted rating here for blood, gore, and sexuality.
Starring: Jared Padalecki, Danielle Panabaker, Amanda Righetti, Travis Van Winkle, Derek Mears, and Aaron Yoo.
Director: Marcus Nispel.
Yes, yes, yes! At last a film that appears to be a throwback to the slasher films of the 80's with a focus on the thrills and chills rather than just blood and gore. "Friday the 13th," is a remake of the first three films with a reappearance of the character Pamela Voorhees. Still, it would be great to see a couple big name actors making an appearance in this film as most of the actors/actresses are relative amateurs. For horror fans definitely check this one out Friday the 13th, 2009.

Early previews are commenting on the melancholy, and dry wit of "O'Horten." Despite, a limited release this Norwegian films is a fascinating take on the difficulties of retirement. See European filmmaking at its best in "O'Horten."

"Madea Goes to Jail"

But Madea's eccentric family members the Browns (David and Tamala Mann) rally behind her, lending their special "country" brand of support.
Meanwhile, Assistant District Attorney Joshua Hardaway (Derek Luke) is on the fast track to career success. But Hardaway lands a case too personal to handle - defending young prostitute and former drug addict Candace Washington (Keisha Knight Pulliam)—and asks his fiancé and fellow ADA Linda Holmes (Ion Overman) to fill in on his behalf. When Candace ends up in jail, Madea befriends the young woman, protecting her in a "motherly" way as only Madea can (Tribute).
Release Date: February 20, 2009.
Rating: Not rated, probably a PG-13 here.
Starring: Vanessa Ferlito, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Tyler Perry, Sofia Vergara, and Derek Luke.
Director: Tyler Perry.
From scrounging around on movie boards "Madea Goes to Jail," appears to be a film that is written from the story of a play. It is mostly a comedic look at the experience of living in a female prison, yet, the actor who plays Madea is a man. So, this film is sure to get movie audiences bursting out laughing with the take no bull Madea giving the gears to her fellow prisoners. Those looking for the lighter side of film can see this one in February 20, 2009.

This French science-fiction film endeavour might update other English films in the genre like; "Aliens," or "Event Horizon," as a claustrophobic, eerie vibe can be felt from the first trailer. In countries similar to this beauty is extremely important, so they really do keep good care of themselves. Not only that, ladies libbers in these areas are usually lesbians and social outcasts! So think about striking the Asian land chatrooms and starting up some internet friendly relationships. You've got to do it in the center of the night, because it is night time there when it's day in your city.
Also, not all Asian country chat room leads are the same. For example it's banned in Vietnam to possess a personal computer. This means that when you're chatting with a Vietnamese young lady she is sitting in a college or a high school on the computer! These young women just adore to fulfill westward males and also have a lot of inquiries about the nation that you are now living in.
Be cautious not to visit too fast though, since they're just so damn social thatit's simple to accomplish. A great thought is to acquire yourself a few different chat names, so that you can have online friendships with a lot more then one of them at the same time without it getting too crowded.
